The Fast

We are eating:

Pure food. We interpret that as products that are not processed:

  • Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Nuts
  • Milk and eggs
  • Yogurt (if it truly only contains milk and no other ingredients – which probably means the whole fat version. We mostly make our own yogurt – see resources)
  • Cheese (again, only the pure version)
  • Whole wheat and whole grains
  • Meat  and seafood
  • Water, pure juice, milk, herbal tea
  • Pure honey, maple syrup, agave syrup

We are cutting out:

  • Everything processed.
  • Everything pre-packaged that contains more than three ingredients (and all of these ingredients have to be –of course – from the “allowed” list)
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine (it makes the list but we don’t drink caffeine, anyways…)
  • Soda
  • Sugar
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • White flour
